When customers ask AI about you, can it answer?

Your customers have started asking ChatGPT instead of Googling. So I read your website the way those AI assistants do, then I tell you straight: what they can actually answer about you, and whether they send that customer to you or to a rival down the street.

// no signup to see your score · I read only your public pages

How it works

  1. I read your public pages — only what any visitor or crawler already sees.
  2. I work out the real questions your customers ask before they buy or walk in.
  3. I test what your site can answer, score it 0–100, show you every gap, then answer the rest myself so you can watch it work.

This score isn't a vanity number. Every “can't answer” is a real customer hitting a dead end, and an AI left to guess, or stay silent, about you. Closing those gaps is the whole point. And no, you don't have to rewrite your site to do it.

AI answer-readiness, explained

What is answer-readiness (AEO)?
Answer-readiness — sometimes called AEO, answer engine optimization — is how well AI assistants and AI search can pull correct, specific answers about your business from your website. Traditional SEO gets you ranked in a list of links; answer-readiness gets you answered directly.
Can AI chat assistants answer questions about my business?
Only as well as your public pages let them. The AI assistants people now ask — the ones built into search, chat apps, and browsers — read your site to answer buyers' questions. If a fact isn't clearly on a page they can reach, the assistant skips it or guesses, and often gets it wrong. This grader shows you exactly which questions they can and can't answer about you.
How do I know if AI can find and describe my business correctly?
Enter your website in the grader above. We read your public pages, work out the real questions your customers ask, and test how many your site can actually answer — then score it 0–100 and list the gaps. It takes a few seconds and needs no signup.
Why would an AI assistant get facts about my business wrong?
Because the answer wasn't on a page it could read. AI assistants don't invent your hours, pricing, policies, or service area — they infer them from whatever they find, and fill the blanks with a guess or a competitor's information. Clear, answerable pages are what keep them accurate.
How do I make my website answerable by AI assistants without rewriting it?
You add the missing answers as content an assistant can read, rather than redesigning your site. Ask Rani does this by answering your customers live on your site and publishing those answers as crawlable pages — so your visitors and AI assistants both get the facts straight from you. The grader shows the gaps; Rani fills them.
Is answer-readiness the same as SEO?
Related, but not the same. SEO is about ranking in a list of blue links; answer-readiness is about being the source an AI assistant quotes when it answers a question directly. As more people ask an assistant instead of scrolling search results, being answerable matters as much as being ranked.
